Curling Pond Tidy Up.

A tremendous effort by Edzell Curling Club members young and old who cleared out the Curling Pond at Edzell Moor today, Sunday 26th May 2013.

On a glorious sunny afternoon more than 15 members turned up to clear away fallen trees and cut back the overgrown shrubs and bushes in an effort to best prepare the pond for winter curling.

More work required yet but a great start so well done to all involved your hard work was well worth it and all the scratches and nettle stings will go away in a few days.

After the hard work was finished the members enjoyed a well earned burger and drinks. President Russell thanked everyone for giving up a sunny Sunday afternoon and for all their sweat and toil. Who said curling stops in the Summer, not in Edzell it doesn't.
