Edzell & Catterthun Curling Clubs held a very successful joint curlers court at Forfar Curling Centre on November 15th, 2013. With Edzell Club President Russell Brown in charge, ably assisted by the highly experienced David Birse from Catterthun CC, guests and "nabadies" enjoyed a night of humor, socialising and good old fashioned curling fellowship.

The theme for the night was Bothy Nichts and it was great to see around three quarters of the audience dressed up for the occasion. Special guests were Mr and Mrs Alan Durno with Alan representing the Royal Caledonian Curling club in his role as Club President. Alan along with our other speakers namely Mike Ferguson, Alan Wood, Gavin Grant, David Warden, Dougie Telfer, Ron Caithness and Chris Curnin entertained the appreciative guests with a tall tale or two.

Music was provided courtesy of Bob Miller and Kevin Dalgetty and our thanks go to both. Food and drink was supplied by the FIS staff with plenty of both for everyone to enjoy.
