Club Jackets & Jumpers

Several members have been asing about new Club jacket & jumpers so here is the latest from Russell & Steve: -

EDZELL CURLING CLUB JACKETS & JUMPERS


It was decided at a recent committee meeting that we should update our club clothing and the options that have been suggested are Goldline jackets and Lambswool V-neck pullovers.

You will see from the attached information the two choices available. If you would like a jacket, jumper or both then please return an order slip and payment along with your response to Russell’s letter.

GOLDLINE OSLO JACKETS:

The colour the club has opted for is the light blue option. Navy jackets are not available and it was decided to remain with the club’s traditional blue theme. These jackets will be ordered by the club from Forfar Indoor Sports and will be embroidered with the club logo (see above).

It is estimated that these jackets will cost £50 and if you would like to try on a jacket to ensure the correct fit then get in contact with Forfar Indoor Sports to gauge your size. I think they are generously made and I would normally take a large, but I will be ordering a medium – so bare this in mind for sizing. There is no difference in the men and ladies jackets other than the location of the zip and to simplify the ordering process we agreed that we should all order Men’s jackets.

The jackets are specifically designed for curling and will be made and embroidered in Canada so a timeous response would be appreciated.

These jumpers will be navy blue in colour with the embroidered club logo. They will cost £35 and the sizing guide is as follows:

Small – 36”, Medium – 38”/40”, Large 42”/44”, XL – 46”/48” & XXL – 50”/52”

It was also decided that we would not bother with individually embroidering names onto each pullover and it was suggested that we would order name badges that can be transferred between garments. These can be ordered pre-season and paid for separately.
